Our journey with Arleta started because my fiancée was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure syndrome, meaning that we couldn’t have our own children. We had two possibilities: either embryo adoption or much more expensive egg adoption and the use of my sperm.

We are from Poland, so our first step was to contact a clinic in our country. Unfortunately, they told us that if we wanted embryo adoption we would have to wait for one, two or even three YEARS!

I heard that in the Czech Republic the law was more liberal and everything was much faster.

I started to search for a clinic in the Czech Republic, somewhere near the border. I wrote to Arleta and to one other place – now I don't remember the name, but it was in Prague. I chose Arleta because the girl who answered was very polite, I felt like I was talking with friend. She answered all my questions (the sensible ones and those that weren’t ;)).

Arleta was also much closer and the total price was lower.

Our first real contact was about one and a half months later (we had to synchronise free time with the menstrual cycle). We met our coordinator – the same girl I was corresponding with – and Dr Doležal. The doctor examined my fiancée, then he talked to both of us and we all decided what would be the best and what we wanted. We decided to go for embryo adoption. They gave us medication – which was included in the total price of treatment.

After a month and a few days (the hormonal preparation takes a while and has to be perfectly timed with the menstruation cycle) they put our perfect little "dot" into my fiancée’s belly. And gave us loads more medicines (until the 2^nd week – as it is written in contract).

We succeeded. First time!!!

After this, the pregnancy was looked after by our gynaecologist. She prescribed us a lot more medication to keep the pregnancy.

After over 8 months of pregnancy, we now have our pretty, little daughter – our precious, beautiful princess!
